Around 600 poker players competed for the first place in the World Poker Tour's Legends of Poker

PocketFives.com is a website dedicated to providing a community and news outlet for online poker and is based in Nashville, Tennessee. It has over 18.000 members and includes public discussion forums, exclusive content, a player database, a newsletter and a weekly half-hour online radio show.

This successful online poker guide provided live coverage of the biggest poker tournaments in the history. Each player handed over $10.000 for their place in prestigious poker championship. The final table will be broadcast on The Travel Channel as part of Season 5 of the World Poker Tour.

PocketFivesLive.com was launched in July, 2006, and tracked over 400 online poker players in the World Series of Poker Main Event; 50 walked away having cashed in the event for almost $3 million total.

Last year's Legends of Poker tournament witnessed poker superstar Kenna James battle for a prize pool of over 4 million dollars. In proof that poker is an "every man's game," a business owner from nearby Van Nuys, Alex Kahaner, playing in his first major live tournament, took home first place and over $1.1 million. Hollywood director Todd Phillips also competed and finished fifth.

In the coming months, PocketFivesLive.com's updates crew will be traveling to Atlantic City for the World Poker Tour's Borgata Poker Open and Niagara Falls for the North American Poker Championship. Other stops include the Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas and the World Poker Challenge in Reno.
